Rowan Tree and Cherry Tree are two cosy self catering farm cottages situated on a working farm on the banks of the River Tweed between Kelso and Coldstream
The Two South facing cottages with their views to the Cheviot hills are perfectly placed to enjoy the wonderful countryside, wildlife and spectacular views that our Borders countryside has to offer yet only one hour from the cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle and 30 minutes to the coast.
Both of our 4 star cottages are perfect for a family holiday or a well deserved break in both Summer and Winter. Sleeping between 2 and 6 people in warmth and comfort, the cottages contain all the vital ingredients to make your stay a relaxing one and to keep our visitors coming back year after year!

Cherry Tree Cottage is a premium 4 star self catering holiday cottage furnished to a high standard. Centrally heated throughout the large double bedroom commands the whole of the upstairs. An additional single bed makes this property suitable for couples or small families.

The living room is furnished with two settees, dining table and chairs, Digital TV/DVD/Video and CD player; the open fires provides the cottage with additional comfort. The Kitchen is fully equipped to ensure you have everything you need. Bedlinen, towels, electricity and logs are all provided in your rental. For families we provide a travel cot, high chair and stair gate. A small garden to the rear with seating to enjoy the evening sun and a play area with grass, swings and slide all help to make Cherry Tree Cottage an ideal location for a holiday or a short break from home. |

Serviced by a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs, it too is centrally heated and has a log fire in the sitting room. Facilities include Digital TV, DVD, Video and CD player, Our kitchen is fully equipped and has an adjoining dining area. The provision of towels and bed linen as well as a travel cot, stair gate and high chair helps to reduce the amount of luggage for our guests. Outside the cottage the garden, seating area and children's play area are all enjoyed by our guest on what might be their first visit to Lochton or one of their many return visits!
